Just when I thought the Assassin's Creed series was going someone special after Black Flag and now that thought has faded away.<br/><br/>Assassin's Creed: Unity was another game in 2014 that was way over hyped. But for once I actually understood why, I mean Black Flag did well and that game got so many positive ratings from people and like every year Ubisoft has to rush out another game to keep the love coming , and Unity blows my mind, not be the game graphs or the story and characters, actually it blows my mind how unfinished this game really is.<br/><br/>The main character of the game "Arno", is basically like Conner from Creed 3. I think those two have a lot in common, I mean they both boring, shallow, uninteresting and flat out douche bags. I didn't really give a fuss about his revenge story that's been done before and it's already getting tried by now. Arno's character ark was like watching a old dead tree trying to act for the sake of it.<br/><br/>Now let's talk about the graphs in the game and I got to say the graphs in the background looked really pretty and I can see a lot of time and effort went into that, but I think the time and effort only went to the graphs and nothing else, because character effect's keep getting all buggy and it's the same with everything else around me. People falling through the ground, buildings acting up on me and people teleporting to different places out of nowhere. It's a mess and some of the graphs looked extremely unfinished.<br/><br/>The action is okay, nothing really special just the basic action from the past Creed series.<br/><br/>Overall Unity is a buggy, laughably unfinished mess. It's a real same, this game could have been pretty fantastic revenge story, but the game problems do hold it back and the cracks do show in this one.
Assassin's Creed Unity is a breakthrough in the Assassin's Creed world of games. I did not know how it was going to turn out before the game came out, but I loved it the moment I opened that box and popped the CD into my Playstation 4.<br/><br/>Almost all of the Assassin's Creed games are known for three things: Its vast story lines, the graphics, and the unique gameplay.<br/><br/>I believe that Assassin's Creed Unity's storyline was one of my favorites of the entire series. A good story immerses the gamers and makes them feel like they are really part of the game. With the start of Arno's determination to use the Assassins' training for his own selfish desires (like revenge) to the epiphany he hashe realizes how he stabbed his friends in the back, The gamers learn to growpeople along with Arno. I would give the storyline about 2.5 out of my 8 stars for this.<br/><br/>The Graphics are compelling! All of the Assassin's Creed games exceeded the gamer's already immense expectations since the very first game published in 2007! Yes, there are a few bugs, but I believe that great feel that these graphics provide are essential in these next- generation game consoles. Because of the bugs though, this sections only gives my rating one extra point of my 8 stars.<br/><br/>The gameplay in this game is by far the most impressive aspect. The game developers made a brand new game engine to make these games. It was extremely realistic, and very intuitive. Another set of developers decided to make those aspects even better be recreating the game engine, including a stealth component. They hit this out of the ball park, but in any game, there is always room for improvement. I will confidently say that the gameplay makes up the bulk of my rating, getting a whopping 4.5 stars out of 8.<br/><br/>The reason that Assassin's Creed Unity has only 8 stars instead of 10, though, is because there were a lot of glitches and/or bugs in the game. Sometimes, enemies would appear to have jelly legs or arms that stretched and bent in weird angles after they died. Also, the online co-op feature that this game presents, allowing you to play with others to achieve goals, was not very concrete. It turned into a race to the finish instead of using actual teamwork.
